Our undergraduates achieve another success in the 5th RRS Logistics Creator Training Camp

On November 29, 2020, the 5th RRS Logistics Creator Training Camp "Round C Training" - the entrepreneurial innovation training for college students was successfully concluded at the 19th Annual China Logistics Academic Conference held in Nanhai, Foshan, Guangzhou. After four sessions of "seed set", "angel learning", "A-round research" and "B-round creation", in the fierce competition of 41 entrepreneurship projects from 20 famous universities, the team led by Wang Kaibin, under the guidance of Li Sijie, won the National Gold Award, and the team led by Tian Peilin, under the guidance of Lai Minghui and Fu Xiaoling, won the National Bronze Award. This is also the second time for our undergraduate students to win the national gold and bronze medals since last year.

As the first innovation and entrepreneurship co-creation platform for college students' community interaction, RRS Logistics Creator Training Camp currently covers more than 500 well-known universities and colleges nationwide, deeply cooperated with more than 35 schools and enterprises, and has outputted 216 entrepreneurial topics, 101 incubated entrepreneurial projects, applied for 40 national patents, and 15 entrepreneurial projects have been practically applied. The RRS Logistics Creator Training Camp focuses on providing resource support to college student creators in the whole process of cultivating innovative thinking and incubating entrepreneurial solutions, while also outputting intelligent talents and innovative industry solutions for the logistics industry, promoting the innovative development of the logistics industry, which is highly recognized by all walks of life.

The Gold Award team composed of undergraduate students Wang Kaibin, Wei Qian, Jin Changzhi, Li Ahui, Zhang Yue, and Wei Zizhen, supervised by Mr. Li Sijie, has developed a project "an integrated solution for RRS logistics user fitness scene demand", taking user experience and creating ecological value of the scene logistics as the research direction, and innovatively exploring the development breakthrough of RRS scene logistics. The solution is based on the module design logic of "sharing, community, experience and ecology", and is closely integrated with Haier's health scenario and RRS's "car micro" business, which effectively solves the problem of how to transform lifelong users in logistics business scenarios. At the same time, it provides a set of overall solution model for the transformation of RRS's logistics concept, which has a greater value for incubation and implementation.

The five-member team of undergraduates Tian Peilin, Li Qingyuan, Zhou Lingjie, Wang Qingsong, and Xiong Houxuan, under the guidance of Mr. Lai Minghui, whose project was “Cost-optimal vehicle scheduling problem based on multi-point pickup and multi-point delivery requirements”, was able to deepen their understanding and analysis of the pain points of the topic through offline field research in Nanjing RRS logistics distribution center, based on the current situation of RRS district distribution business. The team designed the vehicle scheduling decision support system for bulky logistics innovatively, achieved the topic goal of reducing reliance on manual experience, which was recognized and corrected by the judges.

With the theme of "Burning Youth, Entrepreneurship and Innovation", this year's Creator Training Camp combined the pain points and difficult problems of logistics innovation and development in the era of Internet of Things, explored the new direction of college students' entrepreneurship, and helped college students' entrepreneurial projects to be incubated and landed. The two teams from our university competed with more than 100 creators from 20 universities, including University of Science and Technology of China, Tianjin University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and won the praise and valuable suggestions from the professional judges with their brilliant speeches and expressive solutions, which showed the comprehensive quality and creator style of Southeast University students.
